FAQ

What kind of gear do you use?

I shoot Nikon, and use 2 camera bodies during weddings with a 50mm, 85mm, 70-200mm and 100mm macro. I mainly use my 85mm during my family, children, and senior sessions.

What kind of Photographer are you?

That's a tough one so I'm going to guess - I would like to say that I am a Portrait and Lifestyle Photographer. I like to pose my clients first, and then, get them to interact with each other during their session. I love natural light and the golden hour, so I always try to do evening sessions when the light is lower in the sky. I love creamy skin tones and that time of day is perfect for it! I edit my images to bring out the natural colors of our location. I also love a moody black and white - so I throw some of those in the final draw, too! I do my best pick only the best images for final delivery.

What should we wear?

The most important thing for your session is that you are confident, and comfortable in what you choose to wear! Because with confidence comes that award winning smile! Feeling good in what you are wearing is a huge help in how your photos will turn out. Solid colors are always nice - so for example putting together light pink and gray, or light blue and gray, etc. Also, tying in a pattern somewhere in there is nice. Please avoid bright reflective colors, screen printed tees, lots of holes in your jeans. Oh, and for the girls! A fresh coat of paint on your nails, or just going "au natural" is so important, especially if you have your hands around your face for some photos. I am also creating a pinterest page to help with visual ideas. :)

Do I have to order prints through you?

No, of course not! However, I like to recommend you order from my store front because my lab color corrects closest to the way I have edited your final images, and the materials used for your images are top quality.

Do you shoot destination weddings?

Oh yes! However, the final price of your package may vary, depending on location.

Will there be a second shooter?

I am a one man band - but don't you worry - Ive got it covered, and if for some reason we talk, and realize I may need additional help, I have connections!
